I am an up-and-coming developer based in Victoria, BC. My interests are in utility scripting and recreational homelabs. I enjoy using PyAutoGUI library in Python to build scripts that automate tedious tasks. I am also interested in learning more about HTML/CSS, more specifically React and Bootstrap for web development. I thoroughly enjoy seeing what I can do with my server computer which runs a headless Debian.

I wanted to make a free version of a website called "richup.io" so that I would not have to pay the fees for more features. I learned the basics of React, HTML, and CSS with this project.

I wanted to move away from online subscriptions, so I decided to host my own video streaming service using Jellyfin from my laptop. After learning I could do a lot more with a self-hosted server, I upgraded my laptop server to a dedicated server computer running Debian. I now host my own website, Minecraft (Video game) server, and Jellyfin. I learned the basics of cybersecurity with ssh, and a more experienced Linux user through CLI usage.

I learned the basics of how to build a general website used by companies, hobbyists, and the industry. The biggest takeaway was implementing the MVC model in the project.
